While we waited for everyone else to get there Kenzie wanted to sit down and look at the fish.
That is a TON of fish. This wasn't the place where you'd catch them cause these were still pretty small. I just couldn't get over how many were in there!
"Come on, Grandpa!"
We still were waiting on Jared and his girlfriend, Jenna, so Micah kept her entertained a little longer by tossing her in the air. It's not so hard to toss her super high since she barely weighs anything! ;)
Here's Micah showing off his catch. The sun was right in his eyes.
So curious
Jenna kept an eye on Kenzie while I took my turn to fish. Kenzie had so much fun playing with Jenna that now she always asks for her. And if Jared comes into the room Kenzie always says, "Hi Jared! Hi Jenna!" (Even if Jenna isn't there! haha!)
I actually caught one! I hadn't been fishing in YEARS so it was pretty big deal. Of course it isn't all that hard to catch one at the fish farm since you just stick your pole in the water and sprinkle food around until one snags your line. Those fish go nuts for the food!
One of the best parts was going back to Mom and Dad's to cook them and eat them. There's nothing like extremely fresh fish :) Yum!!
We had a great time and I know we'll be going again :) It is way cheap and you can pay the people to clean and fillet them for you. I highly recommend taking your family (especially if you have little kids). They'll have a blast!
**UPDATE** For anyone interested in going, here is their website to get more information on the address and hours: Cold Springs Trout Farm

Where is this at? I keep hearing about it, but don't know where it is...we want to take a family fishing trip. And thanks for the good pictures--Mike thinks it's like a fish-trough place too...this will help! :)
Hey Mindy, I added the website to the bottom of the post. It has all the info you'll need (and a few more pics to ease Mike's mind ;)
Heehee, that was sure a fun vacation!
