Even though only 2 weeks have past in this new year, so many things have happened! McKenzie has graduated to her "big" hair pretties and I am so excited that she likes them. I was worried she'd rip them off as soon as they are on, but she just laughs and smiles big for the camera- which is why most of these pics were taken in the same place. She is my little model!
Getting ready to leave for church in her brand new dress! The hat is way too big, but I was laughing so hard at how cute she was with it on that we had her wear it anyway.
This was a skirt my sister gave me that her little girl had worn, and I LOVE it! I'm so sad that it's like 10 below outside and that I can't take her out in this, but since we keep it nice and toasty in the house... why not?
Last Friday we went out to dinner with a ton of my friends because one was visiting from out of state and the other is getting married next month. It was so great to see everyone. I completely forgot about my camera until just before we were leaving so I need to get pictures from everyone else. This is one of my bestest friends in the world, Melissa. (Can you tell who was holding McKenzie just before this was taken?)
Grandma Fullmer had been out of town for Christmas and just got home last week so we went up to her house for dinner and to give her her Christmas presents. McKenzie had a great time.
Grandma has a formal living room that is decorated all Victorian style. I love it! Check out this awesome couch!
Just like every other baby I've known, McKenzie LOVES my cell phone. I don't let her play with it but I knew she wanted to. I found my old one and decided she could have it. She was in heaven.
She knows you need to talk into the one end, but I think she went a little overboard...
Can you hear me now?
We bought McKenzie her first sippy cup. It is hysterical to see her with a cup, and the second I handed her this one she knew what to do. The only problem is she gets so excited about having a cup to play with that she forgets about the whole "swallowing" part...
See what I mean?
My mom and dad got me a sewing machine for Christmas- THANK YOU AGAIN!!!! It is so awesome. I already have a couple projects lined up but my first was to get this bumper on McKenzie's crib. We decided it was time to take the regular one off when we noticed that every morning she has crammed her face up in the corner. Worried that she might suffocate, we opened up this "breathable" bumper (made out of mesh material) and tried it out. The only problem is because the two ends of the crib are flat panels it didn't have anything to attach to. So I pulled out the sewing machine and cut it to just fit the sides. Pretty awesome huh? The thing I'm really excited about is that this can stay on forever and will help keep her from getting arms and legs caught in the slats of the crib. I have a ton of leftover mesh stuff from this that I'm going to use it to make a quiet book for McKenzie. I'll be sure to post pictures once that is done.
I finally got our picture hung up that Micah's cousin Tanya made for us. It is so awesome! If you like what you see, check out "Personal Photo Art" on my links. She has a ton of different styles she can do.
